Murray, Margaret "Janette" Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Age 83, of Hopkins, MN. Died on November 8, 2012 of congestive heart failure. Janette was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa on September 11, 1929 to Joseph and Mary McTigue. In 1954, she married John Murray, a high school teacher and coach. Together they had nine children, and raised them in Storm Lake, IA (1954 - 1969) and later Burlington, IA (1969 - 1990). John and Janette moved to the Twin Cities in 1990. Janette had two passions in her life - her family and her faith. She and John were selfless parents and they placed a premium on Catholic education. They were proud that all nine of their children graduated from college. Janette took great comfort in her faith. She was a 28-year breast cancer survivor and role model of a strong woman. She will be remembered lovingly by her family and friends for that strength and for her wonderful sense of humor, which was evident even as she was dying. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Frances Eileen and her brother, Jerry McTigue. She is survived by her husband, John; her sons, Tom (Mary Ann), John (Veronica), Dan (Julie); daughters, Mary Beth (Andy) Martin, Jean (Kent) Larson, Peggy (Jerry) Woehler, Ann (Dan) Baker, Kitty (Tim) Conroy, Molly (Chad) Wilkinson; 35 grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Milder, and brother, Pat McTigue; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, November 12th at ST. JOHN NEUMANN CHURCH, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd., Eagan....
