So Disappointed

Apr 2017 • Solo

Went to J-Mall this past weekend to shop for some much-needed items. This used to be a MAJOR mall in the southern part of Louisville - you could basically spend the entire day there shopping and "people watching."

No MORE!! I was actually in fear of being attacked or knocked down. Groups of teens were unattended - either hanging out or running up and down the halls. Even some of the sales people in the stores looked scared! Kids were totally unsupervised - don't know if they "hang out" at this spot (and live nearby) or they get off a bus from another end of town and this is their "meeting" place. No security that I could see ...

And the mall itself was just dirty, dirty, dirty! Trash lying around - overflowing trash cans, no central "food court" (and what there was of food was basically popcorn and junk food).

Whatever management company that owns Jefferson Mall should be horse-whipped. Shame! Shame! Shame!

What a shame

Dec 2016 • Couples

Yes this place has the shops you would want to go to. However the place just feels old rundown and dirty. I remember as a kid it was a great place to go and you felt safe. Now days there's thugs walking all over the place holding their pants up. Of course that happens at st Matthews mall too so I guess no matter where you go you can't get away from thugs.

Great mall

Nov 2016 • Couples

I love this mall. I enjoy walking & shopping here. We were visiting here for thanksgiving so did not visit till Saturday after. It's very nice. Macy's is here. JCPenny's & Ross. Just a few I went in. But they have a great food court & a Starbucks if you just want to go to eat & people watch. It was quite busy with the Black Friday sales etc.

Will do in a Hurry

Sep 2016 • Solo

Was visiting Louisville and needed to pick up a few items and the concierge at the hotel recommended this mall since I was staying close to the airport. Was truly disappointed in the selection of stores and the food court which didn't seem to have any healthy options. In addition, it seemed to be overrun with teenagers, just hanging out on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you're planning to do some serious shopping.

Not the best mall in Louisville

Sep 2016 • Family

Jefferson Mall has had many of changes over the years and even though the area around the mall is building up the mall is nothing special. If you are looking for a quick trip to shops that are typical only found in a mall you will be fine. If you are looking for a Mall to spend the day walking around a mall it is probably not your best choice, the East end malls are better suited for a day of shopping.

I Don't Get This Review

Sep 2016 • Family

We stop at this mall for a minute and they hijack my phone and keep after me to review it. Well, careful what you wish for...

It's a stupid mall. All we wanted was Starbucks or something like that. We don't do malls, they're a waste of time and money and low on our list. If they're high on yours and you can actually tell the difference between them, you need help.

Typical mall

Jul 2016 • Family

Visited on a rainy day to occupy the kids. It is your typical mall--offered various stores and department store chains. Kids enjoyed the food court. We spent about two hours walking.

It's a mall

Apr 2016 • Solo

It has the same stores you will find at other malls. A nice place to shop. There are also many other stores located in the same area of the mall. Between Jefferson Mall and the other shopping centers you can find what you need.
