Ed Balls says he has never heard an Usher song
Good Morning Britain underwent a presenter shake-up today and viewers were not amused. The reigns of the show were taken by Charlotte Hawkins and Ed Balls for the first day of the half-term holiday.
The pair interviewed guests such as EastEnders star Colin Salmon and sub-postmaster Jacqueline Franklin. However, they weren't deemed a dream team by viewers who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to make their feelings known.
@BillaBong68236 said: "@CharlotteHawkns @GMB @edballs Howza bout stop interrupting your guests Charlotte the show is about them NOT YOU."
@HanniganTracy didn't even give them a chance writing: "@GMB Oh no Charlotte Hawkins time to turn over." @ScottMoffett01 enquired: "Ed and Charlotte? Come on #gmb how much do you hate the viewers." (sic)
However @TonyCalder17 didn't seem to have strong feelings about the pair and was more interested in the subject matter: "So it’s Ed and Charlotte today," he commented.

Meanwhile, @KeithHardy4 was a fan gushing: "@CharlotteHawkns @GMB @edballs Thank god it's a half term holiday. Charlotte's on on a Monday. Great start to the working week."
Amongst the topics discussed on the show was Sunday night's Super Bowl. Ed managed to astonish Charlotte when he confessed that he had never heard a track from halftime act Usher.
"I sat this morning at 4.30am on Spotify listening to his top ten hits," he admitted. "I've not heard a single one of them before. Who is this guy?" he queried.
Good Morning Britain wasn't the only morning show with a presenter shake-up this morning.

BBC Breakfastviewers were surprised to find regular presenter Jon Kaymissing from the famous red sofa on Monday's show.
Usually, Jon, 54, hosts the show with co-star Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday.
However, this week saw a change when Jon had to pull out at the last minute and was replaced by colleague Ben Thompson, 43.
Despite Jon's absence, the show went smoothly as they discussed top stories including the rise in pet costs and a new government campaign about scams.
Meanwhile, over on Lorraine host Lorraine Kelly was replaced by Ranvir Singh for the morning.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am on ITV and ITVX.
